A well insulated building shell is one of the most important measures to improve the energy efficiency of residential and non-residential buildings. The research presented here includes the development and equipping of wall-building materials with improved thermal insulation performance, including building bricks, wall mortars and interior and exterior plasters. In particular, the aim is to reduce the thermal conductivity of wall-building materials compared to the state of the art.
