Philipp Runge has been a PhD student and research assistant at the Chair of Economic Theory at the Friedrich-Alexander-University Erlangen-Nürnberg (FAU) and at the Energy Campus Nürnberg (EnCN) since 2017. He studied industrial engineering with a focus on mechanical engineering and management at the FAU. His research interest is the sector coupling by means of synthetic fuels. He focuses on the influence of different electricity market designs on the production costs of these fuels.
