Uniqueness of electricity market equilibria
For the development of mathematical solution methods for the analysis of electricity market models, knowledge of theoretical properties of the market design such as the uniqueness of equilibria is of decisive importance. In her master thesis, the current EnCN member Vanessa Krebs analyzed these equilibria for market designs that explicitly consider network physics. This thesis by Vanessa Krebs received the EnCN Energy Award 2017 and resulted in two publications published in international journals.
