Highly Absorptive Coating

Highly absorptive coatings were realized via a suspension coating process. The coatings show an absorption between 98-99 % (within the solar spectrum 2500-250 nm). This inexpensive coating method offers the possibility of upscaling and is an interesting approach, not only for high-temperature coatings for solar thermal power generation, but also for low-temperature applications such as hot water generation.
